Are wearable hydration monitors helpful for daily wellness?

As more people recognize the importance of staying hydrated, it’s easy to overlook just how much water we need daily. With my routine of walking around San Francisco, I’m thinking that a wearable hydration monitor might be a good investment. If you’ve used a hydration monitor, did it help you better understand your body’s needs or improve your hydration habits? What features should I look for to make it worth the investment?
