With so many mental health tests available online, it can be overwhelming to determine which ones are truly useful. A friend of mine recently shared that they took a popular test and found it helpful for reflecting on their emotions. However, I’m skeptical about how accurate and valid these tests really are. Given the increase in these assessments, I’m curious about their role in someone’s understanding of their mental health.
Many of these tests seem to focus on self-awareness, but can they really lead to a proper diagnosis? I’ve seen mixed opinions from people who felt the tests were either too vague or even misleading. For those who have taken these tests, were there any that you found particularly insightful? What steps did you take after completing one?
