Many of us struggle with how to balance our routines during a bulking phase. While the main goal is often to gain mass, it leads to an important question: should we still include cardio in our workouts? I’ve seen mixed opinions lately about whether cardio can actually enhance our overall health and even our mental clarity while bulking.
On one side, cardio can support heart health and boost endurance, which are great complements to strength training. On the flip side, too much cardio might burn off calories that we need for weight gain. Plus, for those of us who value mental clarity, could incorporating regular cardio sessions actually help improve our mood and focus?
What has your experience been with cardio during a bulk? Do you think it’s beneficial to add it to your routine, or should we minimize it to concentrate solely on strength training?
