Is Mental Health the Same as Emotional Health?

I’ve noticed that many people often use the terms mental health and emotional health as if they mean the same thing. This got me thinking: are they actually identical, or do they overlap in certain aspects? For instance, when I’m feeling anxious, is that purely a mental health issue, or are my emotions playing a part in it as well?

In my own journey toward wellness, I’ve been working on gentle routines and learning how my mental state can influence my emotions and the other way around. It seems like they really do affect each other. I’m curious about your thoughts on this connection. Have you found any particular practices that support both your mental and emotional health?
