Figuring out what makes friendships and romantic relationships healthy can be challenging. A friend recently asked me about the signs of a healthy relationship, and it got me thinking. It’s so easy to get swept up in the excitement of a new connection, but how do we know if it’s truly good for us?
From what I’ve seen, open communication is a key sign. When both partners feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions, it creates a solid foundation for trust and growth. Additionally, mutual respect is essential. Recognizing and honoring each other’s boundaries, as well as supporting one another during tough times, is crucial.
What other signs do you think indicate a healthy relationship? Are there any red flags we should keep an eye out for? How do you ensure your relationships contribute positively to your well-being?
